The Legion of Mary is a Catholic apostolic organization with the foremost goal of personal sanctification of its members followed by evangelization through daily prayer and active works approved by a spiritual director and sanctioned by the Church.
The Legion of Mary is organized on the model of an army, principally on that of the army of ancient Rome, the terminology of which is adopted also. Thus, our local group is called a praesidium, in our case, the Mary Queen of Peace Praesidium located in Delray Beach, Florida at the Parish of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church with the Pastoral approval of Monsignor Thomas Skindeleski and under the guidance of Father Danis Ridore as our Spiritual Director.
We welcome visitors to our weekly meeting held in the Parish Office each Friday following the 8:30 AM Mass.
