“Can you spend one hour in prayer with Me?”

Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

On the evening before Our Lord’s death, after He instituted the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, He also instituted the first holy hour in the garden of Gethsemane with his apostles as the first devotees. “The flesh is willing, but the spirit is weak.” Answer our Lord’s call to stay awake with Him and console His Sacred Heart as often as you can.

Sign up here to spend an hour with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church.

May you find encouragement from Our Lady of Fatima, to whom we offer these acts of reparation in accordance with her message at Fatima. From Venerable Fulton Sheen, in his words,The Hour that Makes My Daywill give you inspiration and comfort. Lastly, we ask you to pray the Rosary for peace and the Divine Mercy Chaplet; copies of these prayers can be provided from the parish office or from any member of the Legion of Mary.

In addition to your personal holy hours, please join the Legion of Mary every first Thursday for Holy Hour in preparation for First Friday. We meet in the Adoration Chapel (shown below) following the 8:30 a.m. Mass on the first Thursday of each month.
